Summary: SB 1727 expands the recipients of the state’s emissions reduction plan incentives. The bill would include the clean fleet program, alternative fueling facilities program and natural gas vehicle grant program, among others.

Analysis: Incentive programs like this disrupt the free market by giving certain portions of an industry a competitive advantage. While no extra funds would be appropriated by this bill, it would still prop up private business with state funds at the expense of other private businesses.
