Summary: Under current law, an assault on emergency services personnel is elevated to from a Class A misdemeanor to a third degree felony. HB 705 extends this to emergency room personnel.

Analysis: This legislation neither uplifts nor offends our liberty principles, therefore we are neutral on HB 705.
