No changes were made in House committee. Second chamber sponsor is Rep. Drew Springer.
First chamber recommendation:
SB 179 would make it easier for people that only own or want to carry .22 caliber handgun to obtain a concealed handgun license, therefore we support this legislation on the basis of expanding 2nd Amendment rights and decreasing the regulatory burden on CHL applicants.
