Bill Analysis

HB 284 changes the caliber to measure handgun proficiency in a course from .32 to .22. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 284 would make it easier for people that only own or want to carry .22 caliber handgun to obtain a concealed handgun license, therefore we support this legislation on the basis of expanding 2nd Amendment rights.
