SB 581 would place limitations on the authority of property owners' associations to prohibit religious displays on private property within the association.
Texas Action supports SB 581 on the principle of limited government. It is unconstitutional to discriminate based upon religion, the free exercise of which is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
