Relating to a right of first refusal applicable to the sale of housing developments that have received certain financial assistance administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 403 would allow owners of certain qualified low-income housing developments to negotiate or enter into a purchase agreement with a public housing authority or eligible public facility corporations for the sale of the property during the first 60 days of the 180-day right of first refusal period.
Texas Action is neutral toward SB 403.
