No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 2044 would establish the State Advisory Council on Educational
Opportunity for Military Children to provide for coordination among
state agencies, school districts, and military installations
concerning the state’s participation in and compliance with the
Interstate Compact on Educational
Opportunity for Military Children.
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 2044 which does not appear to affect our liberty principles.
