Relating to an exception to dropped course limitations at public
institutions of higher education for courses dropped during a
disaster that results in a bar or limit on in-person course
attendance.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
While prohibiting public institutions of higher education from counting such dropped courses may relieve some of the stress the pandemic has caused students, no liberty principles are impacted by this bill, therefore Texas Action is neutral on SB 165.
