Relating to establishment of the disaster identification system for
a declared state of disaster.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 671 would allow a person to elect to participate in the disaster identification system activated in an area subject to a state of disaster declaration. The system must authorize the use of an illuminated display to communicate with disaster relief personnel. Requirements for participation are outlined.
Texas Action is neutral toward HB 671.
