Relating to the issuance of a driver’s license to a state legislator
or prosecutor that includes an alternative to the license holder’s
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 368 would require the Department of Public Safety to accept as an alternative address on a drivers license 1) for a peace officer, an address that is in the municipality or county of the peace officer’s
residence or county of the peace officer’s place of
employment; 2) for a state legislator, the address of an office of
the legislator, and 3) for a prosecutor, the address of an office of the
Texas Action is neutral toward HB 368.
