No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 368 would require the Department of Public Safety to accept as an alternative address on a drivers license 1) for a peace officer, an address that is in the municipality or county of the peace officer’s residence or county of the peace officer’s place of employment; 2) for a state legislator, the address of an office of the legislator, and 3) for a prosecutor, the address of an office of the prosecutor.
