Relating to the establishment of the commercial oyster mariculture
advisory board.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 3600 would establish an advisory board to advise all departments which have regulatory authority over the commercial oyster mariculture industry. The membership of the board would be comprised of four members from the commercial oyster mariculture industry, seafood industry, or related industries, and three members from the scientific and conservation community in this state.
Texas Action is neutral toward HB 3600.
