HB 3045 would allow a health maintenance organization to, at its option and after receiving commissioner approval, deposit with the comptroller cash, securities, or any combination of cash, securities, and other guarantees. The bill would also allow a health maintenance organization to, at its option and after receiving commissioner approval, withdraw any portion of a deposit described above.
