Relating to seller's disclosures regarding fuel gas piping in residential real property.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 1993 would require property seller disclosure notices to include in the list of items, fuel gas piping, black iron pipe, copper, and corrugated stainless steel tubing.
As HB 1993 does not pertain to the liberty principles, Texas Action is neutral on this bill. There are numerous items already required to be disclosed by property sellers. Adding these items to the list does not conflict with our liberty principles.
