Relating to the use of personal leave during school holidays by
school district employees.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 1068 would allow school district employees who are not exempt from federal overtime regulations, and who have available leave time, to use the leave for
compensation for a day designated as a school holiday for which the
employee would otherwise not receive compensation.
Texas Action is neutral toward HB 1068.
