No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated
Due to SB 417 passed by the 85th Legislature, insurance companies can send a conspicuous notice of material change to the policyholder for casualty and property policies if there are material changes or coverage reductions. SB 590 would extend that option for commercial policies.
Texas Action is neutral on SB 590 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
