Relating to a study of using a single intake form for state and federal disaster assistance.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 428 would direct the Health and Human Services Commission and Texas Division of Emergency Management to conduct a study to determine the feasibility of developing: (1) a single intake form that would compile all information needed for disaster assistance from state and federal programs; and (2) an automated intake system for collecting the information.
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 428 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
