SB 2119 would transfer the regulation of motor fuel metering and motor fuel quality to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) from the Department of Agriculture (TDA). This bill would also authorize TDLR to contract with holders of a service technician license or service company license to perform TDLR's duties, among other things.
Texas Action is neutral on SB 2119 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
