SB 1987 establishes certain procedures for appraisal boards in order to establish auxiliary boards to hear appeals. The bill also includes rules for placing a board member on a ballot. This bill would only apply to certain counties.
This bill is a local issue because it only pertains to certain counties, therefore, Texas Action is neutral on SB 1987 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
