Bill Analysis

SB 1700 would change guidelines regarding the release of prisoners from county jails. The bill would allow defendants convicted of misdemeanors to only be released between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM (changed from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM), with certain listed exceptions.
