SB 1441 would require the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to conduct a study comparing the outcomes of students who graduate high school with those who complete a high school equivalency exam, and distinguishing the type of high school equivalency exam completed.
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 1441 because it does not impact our principles.
