Relating to the exchange of certain state property in Orange County
by the Public Safety Commission.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 1213 would provide for a land swap agreement between the Public Safety Commission and an industrial company in Orange County, as long as the exchangeable property is within ten miles of the existing property and has a facility that the commission determines is comparable to the existing property.
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 1213 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
