Relating to the state and regional water planning process.
According to the Legislative Budget Board: No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. Based on the analysis of TWDB, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the
provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
HB 807 would require the Texas Water Development Board to create an Interregional Planning Council in order to "improve coordination among the regional water planning groups, and between each regional water planning group and board, in meeting the goals of the state water planning process and the water needs of the state."
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 807 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
