HB 559 would allow a court to incorporate by decree a written agreement relating to a divorce or annulment. If incorporated by decree, the agreement would not be required to be filed with the court or county clerk.

HB 559 which would help protect private information of people going through divorce or annulment. The process provided for by this bill would prevent the relevant agreements from becoming matters of public record. This benefits limited government and individual liberty. We support HB 559.
