Relating to the authority of the Parker County Hospital District to
employ physicians.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2976 would allow the board of the Parker County Hospital District to employ physicians as the board considers necessary for the efficient operation of the district.
The bill would additionally include some provisions relating to procedural requirements of the district and the medical executive board, including required policies to be adopted and developed and the appointment of a chief medical officer of the district.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 4663 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
