No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 4451 would provide for state recognition of the Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation as a Native American Indian Tribe, and as such, eligible for all programs, services, and other benefits provided to state-recognized Native American Indian Tribes by the United States, Texas, or any other state.
Texas Action remains neutral on SB 4451 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
