No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated
HB 3689 would allow the Department of Juvenile Justice to provide hazardous duty pay to people who are investigators, inspector generals, security officers, or apprehension specialists employed by the Office of Inspector General. It would also update the current duties and purpose of the OIG.
Texas Action is neutral on HB 3689 as it does not affect our liberty principles.
