Introduced: a negative impact of ($702,898) through the biennium ending August 31, 2021.
HB 2424 would require the State Board for Educator Certification to develop and offer micro-credential courses in fields of study related to an educator's certification class. The courses would be offered by continuing education providers. The Texas Education Agency would be required to approve the courses.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 2424 because it does not affect our liberty principles.
