Bill Analysis

HB 2300 would allow eligible political subdivisions to apply for loans for certain disaster recovery projects. The bill would establish the disaster recovery loan account in the general revenue fund under the Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) and would appropriate $60 million through the biennium.
