Relating to the consideration for public school accountability purposes of certain students receiving residential services in state hospitals.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2210 would stipulate that for school accountability rating purposes, "a student receiving residential services in a state hospital is not considered a student of the school district or campus in which the state hospital is physically located."
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 2210 because it does not promote or violate any of our principles.
