for certain expenses.
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 2079 adds eligibility for children who are victims of a murder attempt in their home to receive a one-time relocation and rental assistance grant under the Crime Victims' Compensation Act.
Texas Action is neutral on HB 2079 because it does not affect our liberty principles, although we note that inclusion of these particular victims does appear to fit within the scope of purpose for this victims' assistance fund.
