Relating to the composition of the Riverbend Water Resources District and the terms of the board of directors of that district.
No impact on the State is anticipated.
HB 1574 would add water supply corporations to the entities eligible for membership in the Riverbend Water Resources District, and require directors of the board to serve staggered terms of four years. The governing body of each member required to appoint a directer would be required to conduct a review of the director before the director's term expires. After the review, the governing body may then reappoint the director, or appoint a new director.
