Relating to pharmacist communications to prescribing practitioners regarding certain dispensed biological products.
According to the Legislative Budget Board, no fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.
Under current law, prescribing physicians receive notification from a pharmacy when a biological product is dispensed to a patient. This requirement is slated to expire in September 1, 2019. HB 1264 would repeal the expiration date to keep the pharmacist notification requirement in statute.
This legislation does not affect our liberty principles and we remain neutral.
