No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 1133 would change the limitation on enrollments at grade levels kindergarten through fourth grade in a public school district from 22 students per class, to a campus-wide average in each applicable grade level of 22 students per class.
Texas Action recommends supporting HB 1133 because it promotes our principle of limited government. This bill would ease state limitations and allow school districts more flexibility to address their specific needs.
