Relating to a study by the Texas Department of Transportation of the
feasibility of certain improvements to Interstate Highway 27.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
HB 1079 would have the Texas Department of Transportation conduct a feasibility study regarding the possible extension of Interstate Highway 27 in various locations. The Department would submit a report on the study no later than January 2021.
Texas Action remains neutral on HB 1079 as it carries no direct impact upon our liberty principles.
