Bill Analysis

This bill would authorize the the Willacy County Navigation District to "sell, exchange, or lease real property or any interest in real property owned by it" with the exception of certain specified property which may only be sold to or exchanged with the state of Texas. 

The district would be allowed to donate, exchange, convey, sell, or lease land, improvements, easements, or any other interests in real property to promote a public purpose related to the development of the district, and would be able to do so at a less than fair market value. 

The bill goes on to set the terms and requirements the District would have to meet in order to dispose of the property.
