Bill Analysis
Under current law, the Texas Division of Emergency Management may use funds to purchase food and beverages for division personnel who are activated in response to a disaster. SB 854 would change the phrasing to be "persons" instead of "division personnel", and would expand the conditions to include emergency situations and incidents.
