Relating to the compensation and per diem compensation of emergency services commissioners in certain counties.

Fiscal Notes

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

Under current law, an emergency services commissioner is entitled to compensation of $50 per day and up to $3,000 per year. SB 517 would increase these compensation limits to a maximum of $150 per day and, in most districts, $7,200 per year.
