Estimated Two-year Net Impact to General Revenue Related Funds for SB 2080, Committee Report 1st House, Substituted: a negative impact of ($837,710) through the biennium ending August 31, 2019. This legislation only takes effect if a specific appropriation is provided in the 2018-19 General Appropriations Act by the 85th Legislature. 

Bill Analysis

This bill adds a reporting requirement for public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to add to their Public Education Information Management System report. Under this bill, schools would be required to report the number of children with disabilities residing in a residential facility who are required to be tracked by the Residential Facility Monitoring System and who receive educational services from the district or school. Provisions of this bill are contingent on appropriations.
