Relating to a requirement that school districts and open-enrollment charter schools report certain information regarding children with disabilities who reside in residential facilities.
This bill adds a reporting requirement for public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools to add to their Public Education Information Management System report. Under this bill, schools would be required to report the number of children with disabilities residing in a residential facility who are required to be tracked by the Residential Facility Monitoring System and who receive educational services from the district or school. Provisions of this bill are contingent on appropriations.
This bill neither supports nor offends our liberty principles, so we are neutral on SB 2080.
