Bill Analysis

SB 1642 would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to allow a brewpub license holder to sell beer to qualified distributors or other similar entities outside the state. Next, a brewpub license holder would be permitted to sell ale and malt liquor to a wholesaler and class B wholesaler permit holder and other similar entities outside the state.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill enhances our free market and limited government principles by decreasing regulation on brewpub license holders to allow interstate commerce, making it easier to earn a living. We support SB 1642.
