Bill Analysis

SB 1278 would make changes to the educator preparation program used to prepare teachers. The purpose of this bill is to create more flexibility in the program through changing procedures for things like supervision of teacher interns, the quality of field based experience, and other aspects of the program. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill would make numerous procedural changes to the education preparation program that may improve the program but have no connection to our liberty principles. For this reason, we remain neutral on SB 1278.
