SB 1023 would amend the Transportation Code to make confidential any personal identifying information collected by a joint board for which the constituent agencies are populous home-rule municipalities if the information collected is in relation to a commercial online payment system.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill enhances our limited government and private property rights principles by taking a measure to protect identifying information of certain individuals in a commercial online payment system. We support SB 1023.
