Bill Analysis
Under current law, a dagger, stiletto, or poniard were among the definitions for an illegal knife. This bill would take away those provisions from the Penal code.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill affirms our principle of individual liberty because it takes away provisions of the law concerning illegal knifes that are vague at best. These banned tools could be used for normal, everyday use and should not be illegal. Therefore we support this bill.
