HB 3537 would require that money credited to the deferred maintenance dedicated fund which is appropriated from the game, fish, and water safety account, the lifetime license endowment account, or another fund or account in the state treasury be used for the explicit intended purposes the funds were initially collected. The bill would require that the funds be used only for the function required to manage this state’s fish or wildlife resources in accordance with those federal restrictions.
