Bill Analysis

HB 3448 would establish procedures for single premium term life insurance to be offered in connection with certain consumer loans. An additional requirement is created for including insurance charges in the contract. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

This would allow life insurance to be offered in a way that it is not currently. This would improve consumer choice and market competition in the life insurance market. We support this bill.
