Bill Analysis

HB 3360 would amend the Government Code to require the Economic Incentive Oversight Board to examine and make recommendations to the legislature on the effectiveness, efficiency, and financial impact on the state of the ad valorem tax incentive program and develop a performance matrix that establishes economic performance indicators.

Vote Recommendation Notes

While we oppose ad valorem tax incentive program, the examination of the effectiveness of this program neither uplifts or offends our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
