HB 2468 would require the Board of Pardons and Paroles to conduct a study on the effectiveness of assessments used in determining whether to release an inmate on parole to reduce the risk of recidivism.

The study proposed under HB 2468 will likely help to improve the parole process and decrease recidivism which would benefit both individual liberty and limited government. We support HB 2463.
