Bill Analysis

This bill would allow a political party to prepare a notice of the time and place of the party’s conventions for distribution to voters accepted to vote by personal appearance during a primary election. The state chair of a political party would be required to prescribe a form for a notice that may be used in any county. A notice would be required to be approved by the secretary of state. The secretary of state would be required to prescribe procedures and adopt rules as necessary to implement the section.
