Requesting the lieutenant
governor and the speaker of the house of representatives to create a joint
interim committee to study human trafficking in Texas.

On behalf of the 84th Legislature of the State of
Texas, HCR 107 would request the lieutenant governor and the speaker of the
house to create a joint interim committee to study the problem of human
trafficking in Texas.
Since this legislation would only request a study of the
problem of human trafficking within Texas, we stand neutral on HCR 107. It
would neither affirm nor abridge any of our liberty principles.
