Relating to authorizing broker agreements for the sale of real property held in trust by home-rule municipalities.

There is no significant fiscal implication to the State or local government.

Bill Analysis

HB 3244 would allow home-rule municipalities to use a broker to sell property that is held in trust. Cities that have full ownership of properties may already do this. HB 3244 would allow allow them to do the same in situations in which they hold property in trust for other taxing entities.
