Bill Analysis

HB 2475 would repeal Sections 2002.052(a) and (b), Occupations Code, allowing charitable raffles to be held more than twice per year.


Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 2475 would take a tremendous step forward by allowing eligible charitable raffles to operate without governmental restrictions. This bill repeals the onerous restriction on the number of raffles that may be held per year by eligible charities. 

We strongly support HB 2475.
